Infrared Radiation/Absorption
Radiation and absorption of Heat from Different Surfaces

Postcard Liquid Crystals with half of the back side painted black and half painted silver, Infrared Heat Lamp or Hot Plate with aluminum top.

Heat the cards up under the lamp until all of the color is gone from the card.  Let cool and watch which side cools fastest.  Hold the card over a large heat source and see which side heats up fastest.
