Equipment:
Infrared Camera, Wooden Block, Large Hammer.
Procedure:

Place the wooden block on the table with the IR camera pointing down onto it.  Hit the block with a large hammer.  Note the area of increased temperature where the hammer struck the block.

Place your hand on the table in the area under the camera for a few seconds and then remove your hand.  The camera will be able to clearly see where your hand was for several minutes afterward.
