Freeze a chunk of ice with a large depression in the middle using the plastic form.
Place this in the shallow glass dish.  Fill the depression with liquid nitrogen.

Freeze a chunk of ice with a large depression in the middle using the plastic form.  Place this in the shallow glass dish.  Fill the depression with liquid nitrogen.  Note that the liquid nitrogen boils until it is all gone, due to the fact that the ice has a much higher temperature than the boiling point of the liquid nitrogen.
