Stopped Pendulum
Stopped Pendulum

Code Number: 1M40.15

Demo Title: Stopped Pendulum

Condition: Excellent

Principle: Potential to Kinetic Energy, Simple Harmonic Motion

Area of Study: Mechanics

Equipment:

Stopped Pendulum.

Procedure:

The pendulum should be set with a variable right angle clamp holding the stop rod.  Practice will be needed so that the stop rod can be turned into place at the proper time of the pendulum motion.
