Demo Title: Cons. of Angular Momentum - Vortex Cone
Condition: Good
Principle: Conservation of Angular Momentum
Area of Study: Mechanics
Equipment:
Vortex Cones and Stands (Large and Small Models), Ball Bearings (Assorted Sizes), Rotating Support.
Procedure:
The Vortex Cones may have to be cleaned using plastic polish and a soft cloth. The 1 inch steel balls seem to work very well in the large model.
24 inch diameter and 40 inch diameter fiberglass cones are available plus the smaller 10 inch plastic cone.
