Demo Title: Water From a Syringe - Velocity of Efflux

Principle: Velocity of Water Flow Through a Constriction.

Equipment:

60 cc. syringe with large bore blunt needle.

Procedure:

Fill the syringe with water. Show that the water moves faster out of the constriction as evidenced by the great distance you can shoot the water stream.
