Code Number: 3A10.21

Demo Title: Metronome

Condition: Good

Principle: Keeping the Beat

Area of Study: Oscillations & Acoustics

Equipment:

Metronome and Electronic Metronome.

Procedure:

The metronome is nothing more than an adjustable pendulum that can be set to a constant time interval. Two or three times a year the wooden case of the metronome should be oiled as it will crack and break if the wood dries out and shrinks.

The electronic metronome can be regulated by adjusting the knob. Audible clicks should be heard.
