Principle: Shock Waves, Breaking the Sound Barrier

Equipment: Bull Whip or Wet Towel.

Procedure:

Much practice will be needed with the bull whip to produce the characteristic crack without injury to the demonstrator.  Make sure to wear safety glasses.
