Principle: Measuring the specific heat of metals

Equipment:
Wax track app., Wax Strips, boiling water, 50 gram aluminum, iron, copper, and lead cylinders, electric heater tongs.
Procedure:
Heat the specimens in boiling water for 15 minutes then place in the tracks of the apparatus. The paths can then be measured to determine the specific heat of each of the metals.
