Code Number: 4C40.10
Demo Title: Sublimation of Dry Ice
Condition: Good
Principle: Change of State, Phase Changes
Area of Study: Thermodynamics
Equipment:
Dry Ice, plastic beaker.
Procedure:
Make some dry ice and place it into a plastic beaker. When you are ready just dump the dry ice directly onto the lecture bench and observe that there is no liquid accumulation during the sublimation process except for some small amount of water that condenses because of the temperature of the bench.
