Code Number: 5K20.33
Demo Title: Lenz's Law - Capacitive Ring
Condition: Excellent
Principle: Inductive interaction
Area of Study: Electricity & Magnetism
Equipment:
Car Battery, 40 amp power supply, coil with attached capacitor, spring.
Procedure:
You can show a discrepant event by using the coil with the capacitor and suspend it over the jumping ring core. Instead of jumping off the core like the rings, the coil with capacitor is actually attracted onto the core.
