Delay Cable Oscilloscope Trace

Code Number: 5N10.28

Demo Title: Coaxial Cable - Delay Line

Condition: Excellent

Principle: Cable Design

Area of Study: Electricity & Magnetism

Equipment:

Large Coaxial Cable Samples, Oscilloscope, Wave Generator, and Long and Short BNC Cables.

Procedure:

No advanced notice is required for the show and tell coax cables unless smaller diameters of cable are desired.

The delay line will work as shown with the pulse generator.  However, using one of the Wavetek function generators will give you a smoother and more measureable oscilloscope trace.
