Ultraviolet Spectrum Set up
Black Light Sign

Code Number: 5N30.60

Demo Title: Ultraviolet Spectrum

Condition: Excellent

Principle: Ultraviolet Spectrum

Area of Study: Electricity & Magnetism

Equipment:

UV Sheeting with Micro Lights of Different Wavelengths, Small or Large Black Lights.

Procedure:

Place the sheeting on the table and turn out the lights.  Use the micro lights and determine which colors or wavelengths of light activate the sheet the best.  You may also use the small or large black lights to activate the whole sheet if desired.

This demonstration is also used to show the ultraviolet part of the electromagnetic spectrum.
