Microwave Polarization Setup

Code Number: 6H10.20

Demo Title: Polarization - Microwave

Condition: Excellent

Principle: Polarization of Light

Area of Study: Optics, E & M

Equipment:

Microwave Generator and Receiver, Amplifier and Speaker, and Metal Gratings.

Procedure:

The microwave demo is assembled as usual. Between the generator and receiver place the metal gratings. By turning the grating 90 degrees you can show that the signal is polarized.
