Principle: Persistence of Vision

Equipment:

Slide with large words, white meter stick, slide projector.

Procedure:

Focus the slide projector on a screen about 5 ft in front of the projector.  Remove the screen and in that position is where you will rapidly wave the meter stick up and down.  The words of the slide should be clearly visible.
