7G55.10 - Diode Lasers

Code Number: 7G55.10
Demo Title: Diode Lasers
Condition: Excellent
Principle: Wavelengths of Diode Lasers
Area of Study: Modern Physics
Equipment:
Array of 6 LED lasers.
Procedure:
This laser array of 6 different colors is also used in 6D20.15 and 6D20.20.
Adjust the lasers so that they are in a straight vertical line when turned on. A grating placed in front of the lasers will show how the light is diffracted for each color of laser.
CAUTION: The batteries for each of these diode lasers must be inserted in the opposite direction from a flashlight. In other words, the positive end of the batteries should be at the back cap of the lasers.
