Equipment for Electromagnetic Radiation - Microwave Demo
Equipment for Electromagnetic Radiation - Microwave Demo

Code Number: 9B65.91

Demo Title: Electromagnetic Radiation - Microwave

Condition: Excellent

Principle: Radiation from a Dipole

Area of Study: Electricity and Magnetism

Equipment:

Microwave Transmitter and Receiver, Amplifier, Speaker.

Procedure:

See also 5N10.55 in Electricity and Magnetism.

Connect the receiver to the amplifier.  This will make the reception audible.  The characteristics of a dipole transmitter and receiver can be explored.
