Set up for Wave demo

Code Number: 3B10.10

Demo Title: Wave Demo - Spring on Wall and Rope

Condition: Excellent

Principle: Wave Motion

Area of Study: Oscillations & Acoustics, E & M

Equipment: Wall Spring (10 ft and 6 ft) and Ropes.

Procedure:

Attach the rope and spring to the hooks that are mounted on the lecture room walls.

Pull on the spring and have someone hit the spring with a rod near one end to create a pulse.

Put a 5 foot rope on the end of the spring to make a non-fixed end.
