Demo Title: Twisted Pair

Condition: Excellent

Equipment:

Two long wires, light bulb, switch, electromagnetic pickup, Amplifier, speaker, drill.

Procedure:

LOOK IN THE 3B70.30 BOX for the electromagnetic pickups.  

Take the two long wire and twist 1/2 the lenth and leave the other 1/2 length untwisted.  Connect one end to the light bulb and the other end to a switch.  Turn on the light bulb and use the electromagnetic pickup to monitor the hum at the untwisted and then the twisted end of the wires.  

You can make you own twisted pair wires by chucking one end of the wires into a drill and slowly twist them while someone holds onto the other ends of the wires (takes two people).  If doing this by yourself, just connect the two wires at one end and slip that end over a small rod that is screwed into a table.
