5D10.15 - Resistors - Characteristics of Tapered Resistors

Code Number: 5D10.15
Demo Title: Resistors - Characteristics of Tapered Resistors
Condition: Excellent
Principle: Principles and Varieties of Resistors
Area of Study: Electricity & Magnetism
Equipment:
Voltmeter, tapered resistors (the tapered resistors we use are from old Duracell batteries).
Procedure:
Lay the tapered resistor on the table with the resistor side up. Measure at different points of the resistor to show an increasing resistance with a widening of the resistance strip.
